About My Career....
I love being creative and solving problems. Lucky for me I found the Film and Television industry. Even after 35 plus years of creating scenery I am still presented with new challenges that give me the opportunity to continue to impress people with creativity and hard work.
Leading a team is my strongpoint and I have spent the majority of my career managing film and television construction projects. I have a firm belief that a good team working together is stronger than the sum of its parts. I am very fortunate to have good working relationships with a great deal of very talented craftspeople. These relationships along with my experience have enabled me to consistently put together teams that have done impressive work on hundreds of projects.
I got my start in the world of commercials and rock videos in the late 80's and was able to quickly gain extensive experience as a painter, set decorator, property person and special effects person before settling in on carpentry and joining local 44 in 1993. I have spent several hundred days working as an on set carpenter and have an extensive understanding of the shooting crews needs.
My career path has given me a very wide band of experience that allows me to make decisions that benefit everyone and enables me to work extremely efficiently with every department on the project.
